How to play Black Ops 1 Zombies online

  1. Use a current desktop Chrome or Edge with a keyboard, mouse and graphics acceleration.
  2. Select Load BO1 game, then choose a map in the game’s menu.
  3. Wait for the map download and engine loading to finish. Select Click to start when the host is ready.
  4. Click inside the game to capture the mouse. Press Esc to release it and open the game menu. Use the game’s controls menu to check or change key bindings.

In Zombies, survive successive rounds while managing weapons, ammunition and points. Start with a familiar map and keep space to move when enemies approach. The browser version’s loading and performance depend on your device and the external host.

If the browser game will not load

First let the map’s progress indicator finish. If the player stays blank or reports a browser or storage error, open the game directly on vel.gg. Use a current desktop browser, allow the host’s site storage and check that graphics acceleration is enabled. This embedded version does not support mobile touch controls.

Game files download over the network even though you do not install a separate desktop app. The embedded player uses temporary storage, so a refresh can require another download. Plainoku cannot check or restore the external game’s progress.

COD Zombies browser game FAQ

Can I play COD Zombies in a browser?
Yes. This page embeds the Black Ops 1 Zombies browser version hosted by vel.gg. Use a current desktop Chrome or Edge for the embedded player. If your browser cannot run the embed, open the game directly on vel.gg. Game files still download when you choose a map; no separate desktop installer is required.
Is this an official Call of Duty game website?
No. Plainoku is an independent site linking to a community-hosted browser version on vel.gg. Plainoku is not affiliated with Activision or Treyarch and does not own Call of Duty, the game engine or its assets.
Which Zombies maps are available?
The vel.gg map menu checked on October 10, 2026 lists Kino der Toten, Five, Der Riese, Nacht der Untoten, Verrückt, Shi No Numa, Ascension, Call of the Dead, Shangri-La and Moon. The external host can change this selection.
Can I play this COD Zombies browser game on mobile?
The embedded BO1 version is built for a desktop computer with a keyboard and mouse. Its host rejects mobile devices. This page remains readable on a phone, but it does not add touch controls to the game.
Why does the game take time to load?
Choosing a map downloads its files and starts the browser game engine. Loading time depends on the map, connection and computer. Let the host's progress indicator finish. If loading fails, try the direct vel.gg link, a current desktop browser and graphics acceleration.
Will the embedded game keep my download or progress?
The embedded player uses a temporary browser context. Refreshing or leaving this page can discard its downloaded files and session data. Open vel.gg directly if you want the host to use its normal browser storage. Plainoku does not sync BO1 progress or access the game's storage.
Is this the same game as NZP?
No. This page embeds the Black Ops 1 browser version on vel.gg. Nazi Zombies: Portable, also called NZP, is a separate Call of Duty Zombies demake with its own project and browser build.
